The basics of essential oils while nursing/pregnant
- Do not ingest oils while pregnant or nursing.
- Essential Oils Should Be avoided in the first trimester
- Always dilute your oils (For Pregnancy 6 drops essential oil per 1 oz. of carrier oil) (For Breastfeeding 12 drops essential oil per 1 oz. of carrier oil)
- Do not add essential oils to the birthing pool as it is dangerous for the newborn.

Essential Oils and Children
- Avoid use of peppermint oil on children under 3
- Eucalyptus, Rosemary and ravintsara should be avoided for kids under 10.
- Spike Lavender should be avoided for kids under 6
- Clove Oil should be avoided for kid under 2.
